Rooms were cramped. I barely had space to swing a cat in the bathroom. The shower flooded everywhere, and I can't say I was impressed by the narrow staircase with my luggage. I encountered a cockroach in my room, and noise from neighboring rooms echoed through the paper-thin walls, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep.

The walk between reception and the rooms could be less of a trek. carrying luggage through those narrow stairs wasn't ideal.
